Does it lower your chances of getting into a test optional school if you don’t send your scores in?
I have a good gpa but horrible yet scores. I am only applying to test optional schools. However, new though these colleges are test optional, does it still give you a disadvantage/effect your chances of getting in if you don’t send your scores in? Bc if u don’t send ur scores in, the college will know that you didn’t do well.

It might. But the reason some schools are test optional is because they recognize that some students are sick on the day of exams or have test anxiety (especially about the SAT and ACT exams, which are the most important exams some students will ever take) and don't do well on standardized exams. So instead they evaluate their applicants based on their curriculum and GPA, which represent sustained effort over a long period of time. They prefer to have students who work hard rather than slackers who are good at acing standardized tests.

Nope, for a test optional school, not sending in poor scores is the best strategy. If you had good scores, then they might be a bonus, but not sending the scores won't hurt you.

Never heard of a 'yet' but if it is anything like the SATl or ACT then yes the college will assume you got a low score. The problem with applying to universities that will take anyone who can pass a breath test is that your degree will be worthless.
What about doing some practice tests and seeing if you can improve your yet?
