Mice can kill by spreading diseases like Lyme Disease or by chewing through electrical cables and starting a fire. They look cute but don't tolerate mice in your home. They are vermin.

Mice are good climbers, so yes, they can get in your bed. The reason the Western World elevates beds off the floor is to reduce the risk of vermin getting in them, but it doesn't prevent it. But to kill a person who is able to get up would be unlikely, as they aren't going to do that much damage in a single bite before you wake up. Disease would be a concern at that point, but modern medicine should be able to take care of most anything there as well, so long as you get prompt treatment.

Yes, and yes. The Black Death was spread by fleas, on rats. If hungry enough, they will eat a baby (or weakened person), while the person is alive. And they especially like to crawl in your bed while you're sleeping, on a cool night. They are nasty little creatures.
