Can a full Moon affect wind patterns?

I've noticed a strange phenomenon where as a full Moon rises, clouds suddenly stop moving and it goes eerily quiet. Yes, I'm aware the answer could be 'coincidence' but its something I've seen repeatedly. Just wondering if there is an actual reason for it ...

Update:

I'm not thinking supernatural or gravitational here ... I'm thinking an impact of Moon-shine ...

Update 2:

And not the alcoholic variety ... :p Nip that one in the bud right now ...

The moon has only one effect on planet Earth. The Moon's Gravity causes the Ocean Tides.

I don't think this has any effect on the Earth's weather.

Winds are strongly diurnal, with much less wind at night. The full moon rises at sunset, so I'm guessing what you're seeing is a coincidence in time.
