Actually, the United States is a democratic republic. Republic means we the people have supreme power over our country. We the people appoint a president who is elected by the people's vote. It means that we are not a monarch govern by a King or a dictator. That is a democracy.

Yes, I understand that this country is a republic (small r not Capital R). This country is not Republican, it is a republic (there is no Republic Party either), and I also understand that the Republican Party is in fact a fascist organization and one that is traitorous because it is colluding with Russia and Putin to steal elections in the USA.
