why are no youtube comments relevant to the video anymore and are people just commenting their own opinions or memes that thave nothing to do with the actual video?

Many more people are on YouTube now so it attracts all types of people. Any people who used Twitter transitioned to YouTube and many people who used both just stuck with YouTube after a while.

I blame TAX PAYERS.
Let me explain.
Back in 2010, the tax payer population was relatively low on YouTube. Now that hard working LOSERS can finally afford internet, they're exploiting it for money. What else do you expect from tax payers?
