Is it illegal to meet with your old teacher?

My old theology teacher was the only person who could help me about my questions about God and death. She was my teacher freshman year but then I transferred to another school. I am currently a senior. I want to know if it’s illegal to meet with her. I just want to have the conversations we used to have. Is it allowed for me to meet with her? I’m assuming no because I don’t go to that school anymore. But I just want to make sure before I ask her to meet up with her and have talks with her like we used to. Thanks!

It isn't illegal to meet and have a talk with even a CURRENT teacher. Obviously with a current teacher you have to be careful to meet openly and in public, but with a previous teacher you can meet wherever suits you both.

First off, it is not illegal to talk to a teacher. Secondly, since this human being is not your teacher (or in any sort of leadership position to influence you) there are no ethics issues either. She is simply another human being that you want to talk to. She, as the adult, needs to mind the situation but many teachers and former students can have great intellectual relationships.
