Is there a way around this Safe Step tub issue?

My mother recently bought a Safe Step tub for $23,000. She learned that she can't use it because she can't close the door once seated. Is there any way around this? I'm a slender 6 foot man and I struggle to close the door. I called them and they said no refunds and no door swing alternatives.

    If she is weak, then she should have checked out the door before purchase. Such a thing would never be returnable, by any company.

    Close the door before you sit down. Call the people up and ask them what the procedure is to get into the tub. Check for a utube video. This problem would apply to all their products, as you tell it, which means it would be a big problem to them.

    I hope they kissed the lady, at least, before they raped her on that price. Unless you tacked on one too many zeros she got a royal screwing.
