Leftists: are you pro-choice about the funding of abortions? Or just evil and dishonest?

I am ok with funding abortion. Women hardly get abortions anymore since access to doctors and healthcare become more available to them.

We are experiencing a very unique time for women. I am calling it the “awakening”.

For the first time in history, women are in control of their destinies. Women are selecting to have children after they have purchased a home for themselves and are making enough money to support themselves and the child. Women have full access to birth control.

Being pro-choice and being pro- or con-funding are two separate matters.

They're ignorant, evil and simple minded. In the years to come, more advanced and enlightened years, abortion will be seen as one of the darkest practices in all of mankind's history. Teachers will describe it to students in their class and the children will be horrified by what 'reasonable people' so willingly did to their children.

The Hyde Amendment already restricts direct federal funding for abortions.

Not sure why you are under the impression that the US government funded abortions.

they just have to care. Caring that people are starving makes you a good person.....you don't have to feed them or nothing

Democratic House members vowed Tuesday to repeal a ban on federal funding for abortions and to fight against actions by the Trump administration to limit access to contraception.

"I believe that for the first time, maybe in our nation's history, we actually have a pro-choice majority in the U.S. House of Representatives," Rep. Diana DeGette, D-Colo., said at a press conference.

Standing beside Planned Parenthood's president, Dr. Leana Wen, lawmakers who belong to the caucus defending abortion rights, known as the Pro-Choice Caucus, said they planned to pass the Each Woman Act, a bill that would undo a longstanding ban on federal funding for abortion. The ban, known as the Hyde Amendment, prevents federal dollars from going toward abortions except in the cases of rape, incest, or if a woman's pregnancy threatens her life.

Abortion is legal and free in Israel and made possible by American funding.
