Why does CNN constantly call for seizing the means of production?!?

This nation has been overrun by communist corporations like AT&T and the Walt Disney Company!

Thanks I needed the laugh. You clearly have no clue what communism is.

If either of those two companies, or any company for that matter, were communist they would belong to the populous, the whole population of the USA. You know (but perhaps you don't) "from each according to his ability...."

That would be like giving all nearly 400,000,000 of us American citizens one share of stock for each company. And we'd all own the same number of stocks...one each. That would be akin to Marxism, pure communism.

I haven't heard CNN advocate seizing the means of production. But if it is, I would guess it's talking about socialism which is an economic model where the government owns the means to producing and distributing goods and services. Take note, it's the government, not the people, that owns the means for socialism.

And there is a wave of liberal democrats who believe that our country needs to take ownership of those means that produce essential goods and services in the USA. It's called democratic-socialism and people like Sanders and AOC are advocates. CNN is simply reporting the news.

You seem very confused as to what communism actually is.
