Almost everyone I know struggles with addiction. Life seems so ****** up. Everyones high or drunk always nobody waits till special occasions?

LIFE is NOT so cruel. People are just weak and develop bad coping techniques.

I was a HEAVY drinker for many years. It was the way to be when I was younger (or so I thought) and by the time I started to get a clue that it WASN'T, I was already well on my way to habitual drinking.

Life is what it is, Neither fair nor unfair. It just is.

We all must learn to cope with the constant changes that come. The easiest way is to just "check out" for a while. Unfortunately it is the most detrimental way too.

I was fortunate enough to finally realize this and make a change in my life and coping techniques. Many never do.

Most of us are never taught any better ways.

You just hang with the wrong people. I've never known anyone personally struggling with that. It's always been a friend of a friend.... I work in a strip club and I can avoid drugs and alcohol. Many of the girls do it but I stay away
