Are Schools in North Carolina suffering?
Why don’t many kids go to School in North Carolina anymore? In other states, Schools are thriving. (And no! I am not talking about the University System!) Will those stupid Legislators like Phil Berger and Tim Moore ever Pay North Carolina Teachers the right way again, so that way North Carolina can once again attract good Teachers who want that job, so families can once again come to North Carolina with their kids, so that way their kids can learn and grow old in North Carolina again the way that they used to?

Teachers by state, average income is more then the communities they serve. Low wages for teachers is an old, outdated talking point. The school supplies and such that teachers buy out of pocket, is often connected to their wages but is more a system budgeting issue. While all states are different in budgeting areas, the US still spends pretty close to the top for piss poor results. Much of which is due to overhead, areas outside of directly educating the kids. It ranges from red tape to administration cost, or as in my towns case. Building new schools that are more status symbols, then need. 3/4 of million just on plans for one of them, 1/2 a mill for the plans on another. Seems they could have just gotten one set with some tweaks, for the five new schools they built in under a decade.

Something to do with the rest rooms. It is kind of complicated, but from what i gather there is a problem there of national importance.
