What's a good all around seasoning for wild game?

I'm looking for a seasoning I can throw in my camping/bugout bag. Preferably it would be a seasoning that works well with a wide variety of game animals and fish. Does anyone know of a seasoning or seasoning mix versatile enough for this sort of thing?

It doesn't have to be great. I just want something that can be used to make whatever meat I can get in a bushcraft or survival scenario palatable..

    Basic Mix salt & pepper together. Put in plastic bag water tight.

    Lowry's seasoned salt is pretty good for that sort of thing.

    I make my own. I put it on chicken, burgers, steak, lamb and fish. I don't measure, but here's the basic.

    Kosher salt

    sugar

    ,garlic powder

    onion powder

    sugar

    ceyenne

    Old Bay

    dried oregano

    dried thyme

    crumble and mix together.

    I pour this mix into a large empty kosher salt container. Keep it in the cupboard of take it camping

    Salt and freshly ground black pepper in your bag, a lemon and small bottle of either red wine or balsamic vinegar. If you're wild camping, look around for herbs you can pick in the environment- thyme, fennel, sorrel, wild garlic, elderflower etc.

    Salt is what you want in a bug-out bag- many uses, pepper is good too Adobo seasoning probably the best all round

    I'm partial to Salt, black pepper and garlic on just about anything! Being a camper most of my life, I would recommend looking for the multy-seasoning shakers they sell in the camping sections of most stores. It has the basic stuff so you don't have to mix them and it's pretty compact.

    The one thing I could suggest, that I have read from several different recipes, is to soak the meat to remove the gamey taste. Even water would work fine for this. Plus, it helps to keep the meat tender while speeding up the cooking time.

    The somewhat generic herb that gives anything a vaguely herbal/seasoned character is thyme. Just a floral note without standing out so much like sage or rosemary do. And of course salt and pepper. Many people use Italian salad dressing as a marinade. I've never done it but it makes a lot of sense.
