Obviously I can connect to yahoo. If yahoo can't connect to recaptcha, why is that my connection, and what am I supposed to do about it?

    Yahoo does not "connect", your web browser must connect to the Google servers that hold the recaptcha code and data.

    Only the result after you have finished the recaptcha test is sent to Yahoo's site.
