    Child.

The old geezer will die within a few years. It will be a waste.

Rather depends on the size of the organ, actually.

If the organ is from a child, it won't do the adult much good. If it's from an adult, it won't fit in the child.

The organ should go to whomever is the best match in every way - including size.

Doctors have a written code regarding such issues but it is not closely followed. Several factors are involved.

Age and the health of the recipient along with the likelihood the operation will be successful are two primary concerns.

Hopefully someone who actually needs the organ. I'd hate to think that they are just cutting people open for no medical reason.
