daily drive Ford Mustang 2002?

looking at a 2002 Ford Mustang. it has 92k miles. has a. new sticker. only issues I see wrong with it is some wheel well rust patches. the asking price is 2900 but the owner said they'd take 2 grand even or they'll be trading it in for a Audi car at the dealership. is it unreasonable to expect a couple years of using it as a city car? I drive about 5k miles a year

Average useable life span of cars is about 13 years. You want to buy a 17 year old car and ask if it will keep running for a few more years? Sure it will if you keep paying up to fix and replace worn parts it run for another 50 years. If you mean if you just change the oil every 6 months and do nothing else then no that would be extremely unlikely, you would end up paying more than you would for a much later model car.
