Marriage is an outdated institution that has no place in the 21st century. I'd like to see it become a contractual affair of finite duration. I'd suggest five years, with an option to renew.

Fcku you're stupid.

yes I believe it is like a contract that's why I don't marry, besides it gives the other person in the relationship a reason to threaten divorce

Marriage is a legal contract and there is an escape clause known as divorce. The problem for many is that this escape clause also has a high price and, for those unwilling or unable to pay the price, it isn't as effective as it would be if it were completely free of financial cost or other obligation(s).

If you want that why not just have a "Commitment Ceremony" with a possible renewal after X number of years? Mind you that isn't fair on any children you might have but hey its all about you right?

Legally should make it difficult to break or at least educate before hand.Too many divorces with first few years is telling.Soon after the honeymoon is over. It's supposed to be intimate long term share.

Marriage IS a contract. It is a legal contract.
And the "get out" clause is divorce.
Courts now have no-fault divorce.
There is no alimony.
Whatever your owned before the marriage remains yours.
Whatever they owned before the marriage remains their's..
Any inheritance for either, during the marriage, remains that person's inheritance and is not split.
BUT .. whatever was earned by EITHER party, DURING the marriage (called the "marital property) belongs to BOTH and is split 50/50.
There is no punishment for divorcing.
With your attitude, this is a good thing, since probably any woman you marry will end up leaving you.

If that is the way you want to approach things, then
sure, whatever. Prenuptial agreements can sometime
have those kind of clauses in them. Some religious
variations of marriage also include stipulations
which allow for an annulment if desired.
