Blue with purple splotches which for some unaccountable reason no-one ever mentions.

A clear cloudless day-time sky is blue because molecules in the air scatter blue light from the sun more than they scatter red light. When we look towards the sun at sunset, we see red and orange colors because the blue light has been scattered out and away from the line of sight.

Air is transparent. It has no inherent color. During the day the distinctive sky blue or cyan or aquamarine color of the sky is because the sizes of the molecules an atoms in their reflects and scatters blue AND GREEN in all directions. The Sun's radiation is maximum in the green part of the visible spectrum. The SIZES, the DIAMETER of nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide, ozone molecules and argon atoms is WHY the day time sky is that distinctive sky blue or cyan color. It is called Rayleigh scattering.

Air has no colour
But the Sun's rays get Refracted while coming through the Atmosphere into the longest wavelength of the Spectrum which is Blue
It was explained by Lord Rayleigh
And known as Rayleigh Scattering

it is colorless, but reflects different colors at different times
