Because making it in the "slut" business is a long shot whereas getting that STEM degree and earning your wealth honestly is a more reliable way to have a decent life. Tarts are fun when you're 20 but when you're 30 and looking for a partner to help pay the mortgage you can't afford to be with idiots.
