In Washington state kitsap county how much time does a person get for failing to register as a sex offender?
My brother went to prison three years ago because he had sex with a 14 year old when he was 23. He served almost a year then got out. The girl admitted she lied and lied about her age etc. but he never registered.
How long of a sentence does a person get? He failed to register and failed to appear in court

A friend of mine, here in California, got 30 days in the county jail for neglecting to register a change of address. It might be more in Washington, plus it might be more for failing to register altogether. OTOH it might not be necessary to register.
