First relationship causing severe anxiety?

I m 19 years old and have pretty much been terrified of dating/relationships forever. I just recently met a guy and we re starting to date. I feel totally fine when I m with him or talking to him, but whenever I m not with him I have severe panic attacks multiple times a day. It s not that I don t trust him or anything, it s just that all of this is so new to me and I ve always thought I wasn t cut out for relationships. I was prepared to live the rest of my life by myself but now that I have this guy in the picture I m freaking out with no clue what to do. I ve never craved intimacy of any kind with anyone and I ve only ever liked one guy before now. This is all so weird. What can I do to soothe my anxiety? What s wrong with me?
