I want to open a restaurant which only caters as a seating space. Need help.?

In principle I want guests to make orders via apps such as Deliveroo and have a place to sit for a fee of 3 pounds for 2 hours. Me and my friend would accept Deliveroo arrivals from the backdoor and serve them at the table. Would this be profitable? The town in which I'm planning this has a shortage of public spaces in which to sit in without having to indulge in a certain activity. How do I carry out a feasibility study for this?

Aside from the cost, there may be a legal matter. Food and hygiene laws. Best ask the local council

Have a look at the rent for catering in your town. Then add on

    Business rates

    Gas

    Electricity

    Water

    Insurance.

    Tables, chairs, cutlery

Then work out how many people you will get per day, and see if there is a profit.

    It's a non starter

You wouldn't make enough to pay your rent.

You could do a random survey. Ask people you don’t know or who don’t know about your idea to get an unbiased answer (avoiding those people who will say yes so you don’t feel bad). You could also join a delivery service then when you deliver the food ask them how they’d feel about that.

I doubt that it would be practical. Delivered food would be expensive and on top of that you have to pay to sit. I doubt you would be able to handle the food even if delivered. How will you time how long everyone is sitting?
