Is Go daddy still the first choice for the consumer's?

I am a very old customer of Go-Daddy and was always use to prefer to go with them, for purchasing a domain or hosting plans. Not only for me, but in the past i usually suggest people to go with them. The reason behind preferring Go-Daddy with others was their customer support team. Earlier they where very dedicated towards customer's satisfaction and they listen to the customers till the problem get resolved.

But from the past some time Go-Daddy's chat box not working properly. I tried several time it didn't responded. People use the chat box to contact Go-daddy if they need any help. The problem with Go-Daddy's sites also increasing now a days. Websites even admin panels getting slow. Updating a content in the page or publishing a new page became very difficult.

Earlier i was die hard supporter of Go-Daddy but now i have to think twice, before purchasing any product with them.

for what? I don't even know what service Go Daddy provides.
