I have a disability, and live in Colorado, can anyone explain to me why I am treated like a slave.?

You have low self-esteem would be my guess. As a person's mind goes that person's energy flows, so if you sit around with a "boo-hoo" or "woe is me" attitude, you will attract people who feed that. Do things in your life that make you feel good about yourself, like volunteer work at a local animal shelter (unconditional love awaits you from the pups and kittens there) or maybe at a local food bank. It will give you a feeling of positive regard that would alter how you react to things in life---and that will improve your circumstance. The power is in you.
