Dominican Republic or Cuba? Where is safer to travel to right now?

I heard that there are lots of dangerous stuff going on in DR but I want to go so badly there. I find it much more beautiful and hotter in my opinion. Cuba is nice too but very old looking especially in Havana. I’m not really into that much. So which country do you safe right now? If so what city or village do you recommend?

    well, with all the people mysteriously just dropping dead in the DR right now...........that doesn't seem like a wise choice...........but then neither does CUBA, which has been in the news lately........for it's own mysterious reasons and all these diplomatics getting sick, and saying it's some kind of sound wave weapon. WTF?

    I wouldn't think either is a great vacation spot right now. How about Malta? Malta is lovely.
