    Most likely it's just a preference for pieces that are more reflective and thoughtful.

    Check out Samuel Barber's "Adagio for Strings" (which has been used in tons of movies)--a minor key festival. There are many versions on Youtube

    Ben is right. OP is wrong - and attitudinal about it. You got a good response, kid. WHY YOU LIKE THINGS is up to you. A predeliction for minor KEYS did not make you more Goth, mysterious, or attractive.
