Motorcycle running lean after removing 25kW restrictor?

I recently bought a 2008 Honda Hornet (FI) and it came with 25kW. I removed the restrictor because the bike was really slow but now it's running lean - the acceleration is really sluggish, sometimes it stutters and it turns off most of the times I pull the clutch. Any idea what it might be? The spark plugs were already changed and the air filter is clean, it only started doing this after removing the restrictor.

I suspect the CPU unit needs remapping to allow more fuel into the cylinders. When the bike was restricted this would have been done by the dealer and all you've done is remove the rings between the injectors and inlet manifold.

On a carburettor bike that may be enough, but not with fuel injection which I believe the Hornet to be so get advice from a dealer and if he tells you the same thing book the bike in for remapping. .
