Why are is everybody so rude nowadays?

Like, can we just have some kindness in the world by now? I am  so sick of the prejudice, lack of equality, racism, rudeness, evil and violence in this world. It’s almost impossible to find a nice person these days. The amount of rudeness in people makes me sick to my stomach and there’s even days where I don’t even want to be on this earth, but at the same time i do. Why can’t we all just respect each other equally and be nice to everyone. I pray that in 2020 people will become more smarter, sensible and respectful towards each other🙏.

I don't believe people are any ruder today than they were ten, or even twenty years ago, probably the opposite.  But it does seem that certain people like to play the victim and look to be offended - it gives them something to complain about.
