Why did you give your first pet the name you did?

Our first dog was named "Butler". The Butler did it...

My first pet was a little black kitten. When we first brought it home, it crawled under the car seat. My dad had to take the seat apart to get to the kitten, only for the kitten to dart into the garage and hide behind a bunch of food storage. We named it Peek-A-Boo.

My sister and I loved the Jim Reeves song 'Bimbo' and there was no hesitation in calling our first puppy Bimbo.

The first pets I had on my own were named Emily and Charlotte, after the Bronte sisters. I'm a fan of their writing.

Didn't work that way. Was already named and we didn't change that.

Our Mom insisted that the dog should have a Christian name rather than the one we'd decided on at the time. 😰
