Actually, the thing that gives me the most shivers at the zoo is that some of the animals can be "petted / touched" then forgetting to wash my hands, or thinking of all the people in the zoo who haven't washed their hands, the food, the souvenir store, yuk.

No but it makes me sad that the animals are in cages when they should be in the wild. Alot of zoos do help endangered animals and they have longer life expectancies in the zoo than the wilderness. However, i still know that people are to blame for this. Without us all animals would be roaming freely and happily like nature intended.

Not at all. I love zoos. I like how endangered animals are taken care of and the zoo staff are spreading education to the public.

No. Zoos are safe. I have been at many zoos. I volunteer at a zoo. No need to feat the zoo.
