Who would make a good Batman in your opinion, and what do you think about Robert Patinson being the new one?

    Karl Urban.

He has a no nonsense demeanor.

He'd be perfect for playing a dark character like batman is.

Robert Pattinson is too feminine to portray a decent batman

I can't really judge without having anything to go. Once the trailer comes out, no doubt people will be examining and analyzing it - trying to see what they can gather from it. People initially weren't crazy about the makeup choices with Joaquin Phoenix's joker, but it appears that views have changed since the trailer came out.

I've heard this one will be a bit of different take on the character than what has been depicted on screen... and be focusing more strongly on the detective aspect.

Pattinson has done a lot of movies that people have not seen... and I can't tell you how his audition was with Matt Reeves because I haven't seen it. Seems like a wild card with people at this stage, though I was one to be skeptical of Heath Ledger when it was announced that he would play the Joker. I just couldn't see it.

Why do there need to be anymore goddamn Batman movies!? I’m sick of Batman personally, and I think Pattinson is a poor choice.
