Who cares? Why do people feel the need to demonize each other for no reason?

Because in any group based on ignorance of a subject, many are eventually going to discover the truth.

Even Atheists state that religion has an evolutionary benefit of bringing societies together under a common culture to a degree that nothing else has. So, Atheism is unable to bring the community in a way that religion does, so people are drawn to that community whether through unitarianism, Christianity, Islam, or even feminism.
