Identity theft jail time?

Was wondering what the (minimum) time was for someone who committed Identity theft . . .obtained a credit card and NEVER made any payments on that card whatsoever? This has "ruined" my credit score ! ! ! !

    Minimum time if found guilty would be 90 days probation.

    No minimum, it's up to the judge. I understand that you're angry. Have you reported this to the issuer of the card and to the credit bureaus?

    Probation & restitution but they card companies rarely prosecute.
