Why don't people appreciate being helped in the kitchen or on the grill?

If they’re preparing food for others, they’re fairly confident with their skill and don’t appreciate too many suggestions, as it implies they don’t know what they’re doing, when they prob do. Maybe you should offer to cook, then you can prepare the food the way you see fit.

You sound like a worthless ugly girl child. As such I do not mind you watching. from a area I select. I do not mind you asking questions. The answer to the reason I do not cook like your mom is because I am American. & chances are as I live in Asia. Your mom is Asian right?

You stated that you can't cook,so how would you know if someone else is cooking something correctly or not ? Try not to make a pest of yourself. Its' ok to watch,if you want to learn,but since you can't cook just observe and keep comments to yourself.

99% of the time, there is more than one way to do something. If you are only telling them they need to do it differently, then you are not helping. If you can save them time or effort, on the other hand, then by all means say something. But keep in mind that they still might prefer to do it their own way. And there is nothing wrong with it.

I do not appreciate when someone tells me I am doing is wrong without knowing how to do it themselves.

If you want something done "right" do it yourself. So invite people over and do it your way.

They get madder when I follow them around almost falling into them to make sure they are doing it right.

No one likes a know-it-all. If you don't like the way they are cooking, do it yourself and use your own methods. You get yelled at probably because they are tired of watching you sit on your butt and tell them what to do.
