What are the best ways to freeze avocados or guacamole?

    guacamole freezes very well. I would put it into small containers, cover with saran wrap and add the lid.

    Or in zip lock freezer bags with all the air removed.

    You can buy frozen quacamole thats very good.

    I would not freeze an avocado.

    I would freeze guacamole.

    I would place a serving size portion in an airtight container and freeze.

    Keep in mind that the quality may not be as good as fresh. If you use tomatoes and onions they will breakdown a bit so the guac may be a little more watery but that can be absorbed with a paper towel or drained off. I would roast any veggies like onions and tomatoes to get rid of some of the excess moisture and I would place them on paper toweling to absorb excess moisture before making the guac.

    Not really worth all the fuss when you can make it fresh in the same length of time that it will take you to roast veggies then thaw the guac when you want it.

    You don't. A fruit that is not on a good relationship with a freezer.
