Can cats sense death?

    I've heard some stories, and somehow it seems like they have a sense for when someone is about to die. I don't know how but that's quite interesting. God sure made animals to be Intune with things that are so far from us.

    They know when someone's dead, if that's what you mean.

    When one of my cats died, I left her on the bed and the other cat jumped up, took one look at her, and jumped off again. After that she acted very depressed for a solid month. Maybe I shouldn't have let her see the body.

    I think a human would not have known so quickly that the other cat was dead.
