Sometimes itll start fast forwarding or going in reverse. Or even going to the previous episode or the next one. Why is this happening?

No disc is perfect.
No player is perfect.
There are some discs that certain players just can't handle.
Look at the playing side of your discs.
Are they scratched?
Dirty?
Smudged with gunk?
They shouldn't have any of these problems, but it can happen.
Windex and a soft cloth (microfibre is preferred) will clean most crud off.
If there are serious scratches, take the affected discs
to a video/game dealer that offers polishing services.
It's cheap enough to have it done that trying to do it yourself is foolish.

Try cleaning the discs with alcohol and swabs
