Why do people not drink water?

We drink what we are used to.

This is an evolutionary survival trait.

Those who went around eating/drinking strange things often ended up poisoning themselves .. and dying before they could pass their genes on to children.

So it is an inherited trait to prefer whatever we are USED to consuming. Doesn't mean we are STUCK with that .. but most people don't fight their urges.

Because it has no taste and it's boring. But if it's icy cold, it's very refreshing.

We grow up drinking flavored drinks. Water has no taste. That why i rarely drink it.

Because there's no taste.

The few people I know who don't drink water say they don't like the taste.

A lot don’t drink enough, quite true. I didn’t till I passed out from dehydration while walking too much years back, after that, I drink a shitload of it daily. I crave it now, I must always have it with me.

I drink a lot of water

Because they're ignorant, water is life!!

Some people don't like the taste of it.
