Do alligators eat coyotes?

I know that alligators are able to eat pretty much anything that they find, but I was wondering if they typically eat coyotes.

Update:

Thanks everyone for answering !! I knew that it isn't part of their main diet, as coyotes are in the woods and typically don't come near the swamps and vice versa with gators. I know that gators mostly eat fish, turtles, snakes, water birds, and mammals that live near swamps, such as coypu and muskrat, but could eat other animals such as chickens, pigs, coyotes, cattle, and deer if it comes across one, as an adult alligator could eat just about anything it finds.

Update 2:

Also, I'm aware that alligators aren't hunters like other apex predators, such as lions, tigers, and bears. They tend to generally eat whatever comes near the swamp to drink water or animals living near the environment, so they tend to generally eat animals living near the swamps, so I didn't think that a gator would eat a coyote, as they don't live in that environment, but knew it was possible, as they are able to and coyotes live in the Southeastern U.S.

Update 3:

I bet that even if a gator come across a lion or tiger, which is highly unlikely, it could attack it, as I've heard about their cousin, the crocodile attacking lions before. Also, gators are able to attack pets and even a shark if it comes across one.

Update 4:

Also, coyotes are small enough to have natural predators and black bears don't prefer to eat coyotes, the Florida panther is endangered, and there are no wolves in the Southeastern United States, so I figured that there would be a different animal in the Southeast that eats coyotes sometimes and an adult alligator was the first to come to mind due to their ability to attack anything and prominence in the Southeast.

Update 5:

*their prominence in the Southeast.

Alligators generally hunt at the shoreline/shallow water. They will eat turtles, and any small animal that they can catch. Coyotes will generally need to go drink water at the shoreline to be surprised by an alligator. An adult alligator is definitely powerful enough to surprise and subdue a coyote. The real question is how often do coyotes go to water bodies that are infested with alligators to take a drink.

I doubt coyotes are a regular part of their diet but alligators are opportunistic hunters and will eat anything they are able to catch and kill.

If they got a hold of a coyote, it is a gonner.

They dont typically eat coyotes, more grab whatever they can. If coyote is on the menu that day, so be it. If it's a deer, same as.

No it's not typical, since coyotes are keen enough to avoid them, but alligators would if it was convenient. Coyotes will go after their eggs, but are a little quicker than alligators if they stay out of the water.

I doubt the two cross paths often

It is not part of their main diet, but yes, they will if they can catch one.

Sure. If they can catch one. It's meat.
