Does Gastric Lavage make you throw up and what do they do.?

I actually was taking my night medications (a few weeks ago) and I take 1/2 a pill (50mg). I opened the bottle which has about 20-30 tablets. Instead of ther 1/2 tablet I almost took the larger amount.

I caught myself but regardless what happens when they pump your body?

The medicine is Quetapine

Update:

I guess this is over the heads of most people here. Yeah, that's it.

They put a tube all the way down into your stomach through your throat and they pump in mild saline solution and they vacuumed it out and they pump it in and they vacuum it out over and over and over again.

We don’t pump stomachs anymore, it wasn’t useful because the pills were long gone, dissolved. It’s pretty invasive for not a good return
