How do I stop overthinking about this once and for all?
I've been with my bf a few years & his double standards bother me SO MUCH where it affects my life and it's so frustrating. Before you say to BREAK UP, we have broken up before for almost a year and for shorter periods too and it does nothing. He claims he's left wing and talks about drug dealing and thinks he acts so bad ass but he can't go a day without asking his family for advice or money and for some reason this pisses me off. Like yeah I have no family support but why does this affect me?

Hypocrisy is what makes the world what it is. Consider the Charlestons that run the religions. Consider the crooked politicians that run (ruin) our lives. If he can con his family out of money then enjoy it.

Its clear you are both very different in terms on maturity.
You said you have no family support, so you are independent, he runs to his family every day like a little boy.
So you have to just accept thats who he is, and be prepared to step into role of mommy when his family cant/wont help him, or you find someone more deserving and on your level

I don't know what you're talking about but you could talk it out, or just vent to someone, walk away from situations that remind you of that, take a vacation, try to find a solution for you to feel better, or just tey your hardest to ignore the thought till it's gone. I wish I knew more, but that's my advice based on the information you gave me.
