Fenced in field near me?
In Champaign/Urbana IL area. Looking for a large fenced in area for dog exercise/training. Had some bad experiences at the dog parks and he likes to bolt with distractions. Looking for a spot we could have to ourselves for a bit. Anybody own or know of a local spot like that? Thanks!

This site is not local. This is the World Wide Web. None of us would know the lay of the land & would not have the slightest idea how to direct you.
Try talking to the local folks. County Animal Control may be able to help. Don't know what kinds of open space you have near you.
Just get in the car & drive around until you find a place that would serve you well.
you could pull up google maps & check out the areas around you.

Any fields are going to be owned by someone so you'd have to have their permission to go in them. Why did you get a dog without a fenced yard at your home?
If you want to work on training then get one of those long leads and go to any regular park that allows dogs. That way you (hopefully) won't have to worry about any dogs off leash to bother you. https://amzn.to/2nZXtvs
if you want to exercise your dog off the streets then find hiking trails that allow leashed dogs.
