I can’t decide between Cardiff or Edinburgh for a 26 yr old single Australian female to live?

I really need help. I’m torn between the two. Easier for me to have a job lined up in cardiff but I find Edinburgh so stunning. which place am I more likely to make friends? Date nicer people? Have more fun?

I like both cities but prefer Cardiff.
The Welsh are proud and determined, but I found the atmosphere in Edinburgh to be too 'in your face' Scottish.

I live in Cardiff but have spent a little time in Edinburgh. Cardiff is in Wales so it has by far the better rugby team. We also have the castle, football stadium, Millennium Centre, Bay, parks, shopping malls, excellent coastline within easy reach, main line connections to London, the M4 heading East and West. We're also not Newport..
