If you trust the Google machine it would appear that putting both into USD a US based care worker earns about 22K per annum and one in the UK gets about 20K. The more salient point is probably that neither nation extends work visas for this occupation. So unless you're a UK/US dual citizen weighing your options this entire query is somewhat moot.

There are NO temporary employment visas for such jobs in US, UK, Canada, etc. That is not a highly educated & skilled occupation, and there is NO work, no qualified employers, no visas for such work in most countries around the world. Qualified home health aides, nurses aides, caregivers, housekeepers, nannies might be eligible for such temporary employment visas in some of the Gulf States (e.g. UAE), Singapore, Hong Kong. Only qualified employers can obtain such visas for their foreign employee.

'Care givers' in the UK are minimum wage jobs and unless you already have the right to live/work in the UK you would certainly not get a visa to do so

You will not get this job in the UK as it is not a professional or skilled job.

How would you qualify for the job in either country?
