It seems like that offensive players are often being bailed out of bad decisions by the targeting rules. What do you think?

    Seems like the defender is already committed to filling the gap. When the QB sees he made a stupid mistake he falls backwards and they say he is giving himself up and can't be hit like that. Well, he does it because he screwed up and knows there is no way to avoid the contact. The refs bail him out every time. Now they stop the game to continue to get the call wrong...making the game unwatchable.
