Would replacing a battery in my phone help it charge faster?

I had this Samsung Android phone for about a year now and recently it takes super long to charge a full battery, like an hour to charge just 3-4%. I have also tried different charging cables and charging blocks as well but that hasn't worked. Could replacing a new battery fix that issue?

What does this have to do with personal finance?

It may, but if the phone is only a year old, the battery shouldn't be worn down enough for replacement to help.

Samsung Android is not a model.

    Quite possibly.

Although oddly enough, I have certain outlets in my home that charge my phone faster than others.

Make sure you close apps while you're charging. I find it takes much longer to charge if I leave apps open, especially traffic or map apps that use GPS.

Probably not, if is just a year old.  I have an S8+ that is more than 2 years old and am not seeing any problems like this.  Are you using a good quality cable and the charger that came with the phone? If not does the charger at least a 2.1 amp output?  Have you run the Device Care function on your phone clean up things that affect the performance?

If you have tried everything and still have a problem, it may still be under warranty if you have it for less than a year.
