I want to post a Photo on instagram on my pc. but i can only do videos. why?

I want to post a Photo on instagram but i can only do videos and i am on pc  so hlp me

    It doesn't look like you can officially upload images from the desktop version of the IG website. You can get around it by making your browser pretend it is a mobile device, so that the mobile version of the site loads, which does let you upload images.
