I am Anglican. I am happy with married priests.

In seminary, our professor, who was a Catholic priest, and the Dean of Theology said their church got that bit wrong.

Lots of papal shenanigans at the recent Amazon Synod. Enough to cast a very dark cloud over this Pope and anything that might eventually come out of the synod. What they're really trying to do is "normalize" active, homosexual clergy in the Catholic Church, much like the Anglicans and Episcopalians and others, have already done.

This 'synod' in the Amazon is a travesty and reveals the failure of the Catholic church to properly evangelize and catechize the South American continent. Rather than teach the message of Christ and the gospel the "pope" seems more concerned about pleasing the hug-a-tree environmental greenies and accepting pagan rituals and practices into worship under the guise of assimilating local customs. The whole "pachimamma' thing, with the representation of  a naked pregnant native woman  and giving offerings to it smacks of Mother Earth worship. the  'pachimamma' has as much to do with Catholicism and Christianity as the grotesque and festering Santa Muerte cult.

Francis is revealing himself to be a false pope leading the Catholic Church into apostasy and heresy from the Traditional teachings of the Catholic Church. No wonder the true faith is dying down in those regions.

I don't know what the hoopla is about that issue. Some years ago, a Catholic friend was scandalized at the addition of a converted married Episcopal priest to her parish.

Pope Francis is the "false prophet" spoken of in the book of Revelation - don't believe anything he has to say. And if you are part of the pagan Roman Catholic cult - RUN - as far away from it as you can.
