Ex tries to buy me gifts ?
So I've broke up with my ex but always on friendly terms. The thing is that we met in another city and he was super friendly and stuff like saying baby and telling me I should take better care of myself and that he'd like to buy stuff to me. I just asked if there were ulterior motives to it and he said no. I've made up my mind and told him that we're over im also frequenting someone else. Do u think I should just accept his gifts I mean if there are no ulterior motives?

It sounds like he has not moved on. It would be best to tell him that you cannot accept any more gifts and you wish him well in the future.

No one us under any obligation to refuse a gift. In fact, it is considered an insult in some cultures to do so.
However, in this case I would not accept anymore gifts from this man. You broke it off with him. To accept his gifts would be sending mixed signals and be in poor taste.
Further - how do you think your new beau will feel with you accepting gifts from another man? This will send mixed signals to your new guy as well.
Do the right thing, decline any future gifts.
