    Three Came Home

    Women of Valor

City of Life and Death, Chinese film about the Japanese invasion of Nanking and civilians trying to survive in the so-called Nanking Safety Zone, which was no more than a prison camp inside Nanking.

The Railway Man, with Colin Firth, is a very good movie from that era, and is based on a true story.
