A question that needs to be asked. Why is Rudy Giuliani, Trumps personal attorney, in the Ukraine to conduct US State Department business?

The US State Department denies it ever asked Giuliani to do this:

When reached for comment, a State Department spokesperson said, "Mr. Giuliani is a private citizen and acts in a personal capacity as a lawyer for President Trump. He does not speak on behalf of the U.S. Government."

If he is not there on State Department business then he is there for Trumps personal business, i.e. election tampering, Russian business interests, etc.

This is absolutely the question that needs to be asked.

No one has been able to provide a satisfactory explanation as to why the president's PERSONAL lawyer, not in any way a government employee, was involved with directing American foreign policy, least of all Giuliani himself.

Ask away . Regardless of what the answer is , Trumps has committed no impeachable offense .

Wednesday's " testimony " of opinions based on 2nd and 3rd hand eavesdropping should have shown you the futility of you " inquiry " .

You are right, he was there as a personal laywer, defending his client. A client who has been attacked and smeared from day one. Getting to the root of those smears, those attacks, is part of the lawyer's job. Just because the trail led to a political rivals son, does not mean the investigation stops.
